KAMAZ, together with its authorized partner, TK LIFT special equipment plant (Torg–Koms group of companies) launched a new hook loader on the KAMAZ-65951 chassis. Special purpose vehicle based on the high-tech K5 generation chassis is available for order.
The hook loader on the KAMAZ-65951 chassis is designed for transporting interchangeable bodies and working with a trailer. A hook loader is the main element of modular transportation: the bottom line is that one vehicle equipped with this mechanism can transport interchangeable bodies of various functional purposes (modules). These include a container, a cargo platform for transporting vehicles, a wagon, a trailer, a tank, a bunker for transporting solid household waste, etc. Thus, the novelty is relevant for enterprises in the field of handling municipal solid waste (MSW), industrial and other types of waste, as well as for agricultural enterprises and other companies that use interchangeable bodies in their production activities.
The main features of the model include 8x4 KAMAZ–65951 reinforced latest generation chassis, attachments with a lifting capacity of 30 tons and the ability to work with a wide range of interchangeable bodies (containers) as part of a road train. The vehicle is equipped with KAMAZ R6 diesel engine capacity of 482 HP and 2,400 Nm of torque.
