KAMAZ and Alfa Van, a manufacturer of special purpose equipment, have launched a reefer on KAMAZ-65658 high-tech K5 generation chassis.
The exterior and interior body panels are coated with galvanized steel (including polymer-coated) and plastic with UV protection. Extruded polystyrene foam is used as insulation. The fittings are made of stainless and galvanized steel. The floor covering is made of transport plywood with an anti-slip notch, polyurethane self-leveling floor, anti-slip plastic, corrugated aluminum and galvanized steel. Exterior dimensions of the van (LxWxH) are 8,400x2,600x2,800 mm. The internal dimensions are 8,220x2,458x2,558 mm. The well-thought-out dimensions ensure excellent body capacity (20 pallets) and maneuverability of the vehicle. The internal volume of the body is 51.68 m3.
The vehicle is equipped with a comfortable cabin with a berth and good visibility, efficient KAMAZ engine capacity of 390 HP and 12-speed robotized gear box. Features of the KAMAZ-65658 chassis include the 6x2 wheel arrangement and the lifting rear axle, which significantly improves the vehicle's load capacity, fuel efficiency and maneuverability. To ensure smooth running, the rear axles of the chassis are equipped with air suspension.
