KAMA will enter the Russian market by 2024
The pre-production prototype of the Kama electric car should be ready by the end of 2024. The former AVTOVAZ engineering director, Harald Grubel, who now holds the post of executive director of JSC «Kama», set this deadline. Thus, there are only 2.5 years left before the premiere of an electric car close to the series, but 4 years will have passed since the premiere of the first version in December 2020.
It is planned that by the middle of 2023, the production of prototypes for testing chassis and electronics will be completed. The Chinese specialists will likely participate in the development: in August, the company opened an office in China, which hires engineers for the integration of the ADAS (an advanced driver-assistance system), steering, braking, as well as developers of multimedia systems.

The Jeland automobile brand took part in the VK Fest, which was held on July 18-19 at the VDNKh in Moscow. The brand demonstrated its concept through a thematic area called "The Soundtrack of Your Summer", the press service of the AGR holding reports.

AvtoVAZ announced an increase in demand for LADA bi-fuel models that can run on both gasoline and gas.
It is noted that bi-fuel versions of cars are available for purchase at LADA Business dealerships. It is also known that the plant gas cylinder equipment is installed on bi-fuel Lada. According to AvtoVAZ representatives, operation on methane allows reducing fuel costs 2-3-fold.
