EM Rus and Renera will introduce Russian batteries into UMO 5
EM Rus and Renera (part of Rosatom) companies plan to integrate a fully Russian-designed battery pack into UMO 5 electric car and other models by 2027, according to Ilya Rakshin, EM Rus CEO.
According to Mr. Rakshin, UMO 5 uses a lithium-iron-phosphate chemistry battery.
Recall that in February of the current year, Denis Manturov, the First Deputy Prime Minister, and Sergei Sobyanin, the Moscow Mayor, launched the production of electric and hybrid EVM cars under the UMO brand at the Moskvich Automobile Plant.

A 3D printer has appeared in the steel casting shop of the KAMAZ Foundry Plant, which makes it possible to produce more high-precision rods that are used in the production of castings.
The new equipment has been installed at the 3D printing rod manufacturing section. A new room with a specific microclimate was specially prepared for it: the temperature is maintained in the range from 18 to 26 °C and humidity not more than 40%.
