The Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant is actively testing models equipped with diesel engines, as the company's press service report.

So, at the moment, the engine control unit is being adjusted to ensure engine operation at subzero temperatures. Special attention is paid to operation of the turbocharger, catalytic converter and particulate filter both in normal driving and during regeneration.

The electronics are also being adjusted at the test sites, in particular, cruise control and the maximum speed limit system are being calibrated.

Recall that the launch of diesel versions of Patriot, Pickup and Profi is scheduled for the second-third quarter of the current year.
