Details about the new Moskvich-8 have become known

The first live images of Moskvich 8 crossover were published by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin in his telegram channel. Production of the 7-seat model at the plant will start before the end of 2024, according to Autonews.

The new Moskvich with index 8 is a large seven-seat crossover with exterior similar to that of the Chinese JAC Sehol X8 model, first introduced in China in 2022. The novelty length is 4,824 mm, width — 1,870 mm, and height — 1,756 mm. The wheelbase reaches 2,830 mm.

The crossover interior is equipped with a digital dashboard diagonal of 12.3 inches, a large screen multimedia system with support of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and also includes a washer for changing transmission modes.

The powertrain of the model is represented by uncontested 174-HP GDI unit coupled with 7-speed robotized gear box. The engine displacement and the official cost of the car have not yet been disclosed.
