The Changan representative office announced its intentions to localize the assembly of cars in Russia. According to the executive director of Changan Motors Rus, production in Russia will start in the foreseeable future.

Recall that earlier it became known that Changan and the Avtotor automobile plant in the Kaliningrad region were negotiating a potential localization of assembly at the enterprise, but no official information followed this.

Currently, the Changan model line-up in Russia is represented by 12 models, including 4 sedans (Alsvin, Eado Plus, Lamore and Uni-V), 7 crossovers (CS35 Plus, Uni-S, CS75 Plus, CS95, Uni-T, Uni-K, Uni-K iDD), and Hunter Plus pickup.
