BMW Group presented the new BMW 4 series Cabrio. The novelty will appear in Russia in spring of 2021. Prices for cabriolet vary from 3 million 770 thousand rubles to 5 million 900 thousand rubles.

In Russia, BMW 4 series Cabrio will be available in two versions. The basic version – BMW 420i Cabrio - is equipped with 184-HP petrol engine and 8-speed Steptronic automatic gear box. The car accelerates to 100 km/h in 8.2 seconds and reaches the maximum speed of 236 km/h.

The top version – BMW M440i xDrive Cabrio - is equipped with 374-HP engine, 8-speed Steptronic automatic gear box and all-wheel drive. The car accelerates to 100 km/h in 5.1 seconds, with a maximum speed of 250 km/h.

The folding roof of the new BMW 4 series becomes 40% lighter than that of its predecessor. In the basic version, the awning is made of black fabric, with an optional Anthracite color with a silver effect. For trips with an open top, a windscreen, as well as an optional «Air collar» system for heating the driver's and front passenger's necks with warm air are made.

The novelty interior includes two individual seats for rear passengers, shifted closer to the center of the body. Seats with a sports profile, leather trim and electrical settings are provided for the driver and front passenger. Seat belts are automatically supplied by electric drive under the arm of those sitting in the front seats.

The volume of the trunk varies from 300 liters with the roof lowered to 385 liters with the awning raised.

The standard version BMW 420i Cabrio Base includes suspension without sports settings, six airbags, LED lights, rain sensor, dynamic cruise control, parc distance control, 18-inch light alloy wheel disks, M Sport package, including aerodynamic package M, interior Vernasca leather, automatic climate control for three zones, heated front seats, sports M steering wheel with heating and control keys, velour mats. Optionally, the more rigid M Sport suspension is available, which can be supplemented with other attributes from the M line: electronically controlled shock absorbers, brakes with red or blue calipers, as well as rear differential with electronic locking.
