AvtoVAZ will introduce the new engine line in LADA Azimut
A new range of 1.6- and 1.8-liter air breather engines capacity of 120 and 132 HP will be installed on Azimut and other LADA models, according to concern head Maxim Sokolov.
The project period is three years. At the initial stage, it is planned to introduce new powertrains into LADA Azimut crossover, then into other models. According to Mr. Sokolov, the project is still being implemented according to plan.
Recall that LADA Azimut is a new crossover based on the Russian Vesta platform. The basic version of the model is equipped with upgraded engines of own production displacement of 1.6 and 1.8 liters and capacity of 120 and 132 HP, respectively, coupled with 6-speed manual gear box or CVT.
