AvtoVAZ reports record sales over the past 12 years

Sales of Lada cars in Russia in April 2024 increased by 64.8% on April 2023 — up to 45.6 thousand cars. This is the maximum figure for April over the last 12 years, according to the AVTOVAZ press service.

The sales record was updated by Lada Vesta model — 13.5 thousand cars of this model were sold in April, 36.8 thousand units - over 4 months. Sales of the most popular Lada Granta model reached its record — 21.4 thousand cars in April (+7.7% year-on-year), and 64.2 thousand cars over 4 months, which corresponds to the result of the similar period of the last year.

Sales of Niva Legend grew by 42.1% on April last year to 4.8 thousand units. Over 4 months, sales of this model amounted to 16.6 thousand units (+51.9%). Niva Travel sales were up by 33.8% year-on-year to 5.2 thousand units. Over 4 months, 17.5 thousand these models were sold, which was a 21.6% rise on than the similar period of the last year.
