A little more than 3 thousand LADA Iskra cars will be assembled at the plant in Saint Petersburg by the end of 2025, according to AVTOVAZ head Maxim Sokolov.

According to Mr. Sokolov, the rate of assembly at AVTOVAZ's two enterprises in Tolyatti and Saint Petersburg is 15 cars per hour, and the assembly lines are being adjusted for logistics and distribution of supplies, including to the Northwestern Federal District and the Republic of Belarus.

However, at the moment, the LADA Iskra production line is underloaded despite the high (more than 90%) degree of localization. The concern management expect to produce large batches of Russian cars, including this model, for civil servants.
