AvtoVAZ increased production of LADA cars by 40% in 2024
The production of AvtoVAZ cars in 2024 increased to a record. The output increased by 40% on the similar period of the previous year and amounted to 525.53 thousand units. According to Maxim Sokolov, the head of the concern, this figure has become a record for the last 10 years.
LADA Granta, Vesta, Niva and Largus became the most popular models in 2024. Mr. Sokolov also noted that the company still adheres to the production plan of 500,000 cars for the coming year.
As for sales volumes, in 2024, AVTOVAZ's share in the automotive market of the Russian Federation amounted to 27%, while the sales volume grew to 495 thousand units (by 30%).

Preparations for the launch of production of a low-cost hatchback have begun at the Kaliningrad Avtotor plant.

A batch of Toyota RAV4 crossovers equipped with hybrid engines will be brought to Russia under the parallel import scheme, according to the press service of the Rolf dealer network.
