AVTOVAZ and SberMobile signed an agreement within the framework of a strategic partnership in the field of telematics services for LADA cars, according to which SberMobile will become a supplier of cellular communications for SIM modules integrated into the car, providing connectivity and functionality of the LADA Connect system on all compatible models of the brand. This was announced at the SPIEF by Sergey Volkov, CEO of SberMobile, and Evgeny Shmelev, the First Executive Vice President of AVTOVAZ Strategy and Technical Development.

SberMobile's SIM profiles will be integrated into the telematics unit of LADA models. By connecting to the SberMobile network, cars will receive access to the online functionality of services - information about traffic jams and road events in real time when using navigation, remote updating of maps, streaming services and telematics to ensure remote interaction with the car. LADA Connect services for individual LADA car models will be available by the end of the current year.
