The report to shareholders on the work of enterprises involved in the production of cars in the Kaliningrad region in 2020 was published.
In 2020, the production decreased by 26% on the previous year and amounted to 156 832 cars against 213 153 cars manufactured in 2019. The forced shutdown of production and the adjustment of production plans for the reporting period did not affect the fulfillment of the tasks aimed to update the model line-up. Over the past year, the production of 18 new car models was mastered, including the production of new models by full cycle with welding, painting, assembly.

Geely has launched sales of a new version of Preface sedan in Russia.
The model retained 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. Its capacity was reduced from 200 to 150 HP. The maximum torque remained unchanged — 325 Nm.
