The new Forthing T5 crossover will cost 1.9 million rubles in Russia. According to Kommersant, car production has already been set up at the Avtotor plant in Kaliningrad, and the start of sales will be announced separately.
With a length of 4,545 mm and a wheelbase of 2,720 mm, the new Forthing turned out to be larger than competitors, which include Geely Coolray, Haval Jolion and Chery Tiggo 4 Pro. Also, unlike the listed models, the novelty is equipped with a multi-link suspension. The power unit is represented by 1.5-liter 4J15T petrol turbocharged engine capacity of 144 HP and 215 Nm of torque, coupled with 6-speed automatic gear box and a torque converter.
The crossover equipment includes heated front seats, a russified multimedia system, eco-leather chairs, a rear-view camera, keyless entry, rear parking sensors, a built-in DVR, six audio speakers and an electric trunk door drive. The novelty will go on sale in a single version.
