AGR will invest 37.1 billion rubles in production localization at the former GM plant
The AGR Automotive Group plans to invest 37.1 billion rubles in the car assembly localization at the former American General Motors plant in Saint Petersburg, as well as 50.6 billion rubles - at the ex-Volkswagen plant in the Kaluga region.
According to the source, AGR plans to finance production localization under special investment contracts, for example, in the field of automotive electronics, automatic gear boxes and engines.
It is also known that the new owner of the plants has already invested 10 billion rubles in the car production in the Kaluga region and about 7 billion rubles in the plant near Saint Petersburg.
