A new crossover based on LADA Vesta will be presented in summer of 2025
Premiere of the new segment B+ crossover on the LADA Vesta platform will take place in summer of 2025. It will be held within the Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF), which is scheduled for June 18-21, Kommersant reports with reference to the AVTOVAZ head Maxim Sokolov.
Moreover, according to Mr. Sokolov, one of the upcoming premieres of AvtoVAZ will be Niva Sport SUV. The key project for 2025 is the launch of LADA Iskra production, scheduled for spring of next year. The company also plans to update popular models, for example, to integrate 1.8-liter unit into Niva line SUVs.
It is already known that the company plans to produce 500 thousand cars in 2025, while the expected investment will amount to 45 billion rubles.

In Russia, 29,225 LADA cars were sold in August 2026. As the AvtoVAZ's press service reports, this figure exceeds last year's results by 3%.
Over 8 months of the current year, a total of 212,316 Lada cars were sold in Russia. According to the company, a similar number of cars were delivered to customers in 2025.

In August 2026, 1,305 Moskvich-3 crossovers were sold in the Russian market. According to the company's press service, this is 72% more than in July 2026. Relative to the similar period of the previous year, sales in August also showed a 24% growth.
