A batch of new equipment was delivered to KAMAZ plant

The first batch of equipment purchased within the framework of the "Axle Production" investment project has arrived at the KAMAZ Automobile Plant. Organization of the production of drive axles for K5 generation heavy trucks marked the beginning of global transformations of almost the entire aggregate production of the automobile plant.

According to the project administrator, Ilyas Ganiev, chief specialist of the automobile plant design group, 10 thousand m2 of space has already been freed up for installation of equipment, 11 pieces of equipment have been dismantled in the crankcase and brake workshops, 50 machines have been transferred to other workshops of aggregate production. This year, it is planned to free up another 5 thousand m2 of production space and remount 45 pieces of equipment. At the renovated sites, by the end of 2024, it is planned to pour concrete floors on an area of 10 thousand m2, 2 thousand m2 are already ready for the re-installation of existing equipment. Work has begun on the rehabilitation and painting of metal structures.
