Four special purpose KAMAZ K4940 dumpers based on the KAMAZ-65201-В5 chassis have been delivered to Northern Capital Gateway LLC, the operating company of Pulkovo International Airport in Saint Petersburg.

Vehicles were supplied by Avtocentr Obukhovo LLC, an authorized dealer of KAMAZ PTC in Saint Petersburg. Acquired for Pulkovo Airport's operational needs, KAMAZ K4940 model is the K3 generation heavy-duty vehicle designed for hauling bulk cargo under challenging operating conditions. The dumper offers a balanced solution and is optimal for tasks requiring high performance, off-road capability, and the ability to handle cargo prone to freezing.

Featuring an 8x4 wheel arrangement, the dumper has a payload capacity of 32.5 tons and is equipped with a 25-cubic-meter rectangular rear-dump body. High operational performance is driven by a modern 390-HP Euro-5 engine paired with 16-speed manual gear box. For reliable operation in difficult road conditions and off-road terrain, the special purpose vehicle is equipped with reinforced 16-ton drive axles, as well as inter-wheel and inter-axle differential locks, ensuring excellent traction. The fuel tank capacity is 350 liters.
