A large carrier from the Republic of Khakassia has ordered a batch of KAMAZ-65659 tractor units after their successful trial operation.
The K5 generation KAMAZ-65659 long-haul tractor unit was transferred to the company for trial operation in real-world working conditions. The vehicle transported goods for 5 weeks and during this period proved its high technical and economic characteristics. Based on the test results, the management of the transport company decided to renew its fleet with KAMAZ-65659 long-haul tractor units. In August, the first 5 vehicles will enter the route with dump semi-trailers for transporting coal, while ensuring a balanced approach to transportation without violating weight loads.
The vehicle is equipped with KAMAZ-910.52-460 engine capacity of 483 HP (Euro-5), displacement of 12 liters and torque of 2,400 Nm. The power takeoff device allows to install hydrofication for working with dump semi-trailers. The fuel tank volume has been increased to 600 liters. The cabin with two ergonomic berths equipped with orthopedic mattresses provides comfort for the driver on long trips. The list of equipment also includes a heated pneumatic seat, a modern multimedia system, climate control, an autonomous heater, a folding table and spacious drawers for the driver's personal belongings.
