64 Volgabus buses have been sent to Gatchina

As part of a new municipal contract concluded in 2024 with the administration of the Gatchina district, Trans-Balt is carrying out a phased replacement of rolling stock. By July 1, 2024, transport workers will receive a total of 64 medium buses that will serve 35 municipal routes. The first 6 large Volgabus buses were received in April. All of them have already entered the regional routes.

The first three buses from a large batch for the Gatchina district left the BMG plant in the Vladimir region. They will have to go through a "run-in" and overcome 1,000 km to their destination.

The new buses run on environmentally friendly liquefied natural gas. They are low-floor and adapted to serve passengers with limited mobility, equipped with video surveillance cameras outside and inside the cabin, climate control systems and automatic passenger counting.
