The production of Haval H3 compact crossover, which began to be officially sold in Russia in May, will soon be set up at the Russian Haval plant in the Tula region. Now the company is welding and painting the bodies of a new model in test mode, Avtonovosti Dnya reports with reference to the insider Avtopotok Telegram channel.
Haval H3 is a crossover with a load-bearing body, based on the L.E.M.O.N. platform, already known to Russians from the Jolion and Dargo SUVs. The novelty dimensions are similar to those of Tank 300: 4,520 mm in length, 1,875 mm in width and 1,745 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,170 mm. The road clearance reaches 196 mm.
A 1.5-liter petrol turbocharged unit with two capacity options will be placed under the H3 hood: 143 HP for the front-wheel drive version and 177 HP for the all-wheel drive version.
