The Tutaev Motor Plant, KAMAZ subsidiary in the Yaroslavl region, has produced a 10-thousandth automotive gear winch.

The history of a new TMP production line dates back to 2020. Tutaev Motor Plant received the first kits for the assembly of vehicle winches from NEFAZ, KAMAZ subsidiary in Bashkortostan, in February 2020. At the same time, the first 10 units were assembled, in April 2020 – 105 units.

The production transfer of mechanical winches from NEFAZ to TMP and organization of their manufacture took place in stages. The first stage included assembly of components produced at NEFAZ and organization of mechanical processing of 70% of the parts that were previously manufactured in Neftekamsk, on the equipment available at the Tutaev Motor Plant. At the second stage, the necessary NEFAZ equipment was re-installed, production was commissioned and set up using combined NEFAZ-TMP technologies. The next stages included organization of the production of castings and forgings.
