The new Chery Tiggo 9 flagship crossover will enter the Russian market on December 17, 2024,  the Russian representative office of the brand reports. The acceptance of orders for the novelty has already been opened, but the cost is still not disclosed.

The crossover is based on the T2X platform. The powertrain in the Russian version is represented by 2.0-liter 249-HP turbocharged engine coupled with 8-speed automatic gear box, as well as a Torque-on-Demand all-wheel drive with an electronically controlled multi-disc clutch. Acceleration to 100 km/h takes 8 seconds. A hybrid version of the model is also likely to appear on the Russian market.

The novelty equipment will include options for maintaining comfort and safety, as well as an APA automatic parking system, which makes it possible to park parallel, perpendicular and diagonally. This system is combined with artificial intelligence, so it is constantly improving its algorithms, learning from real parking scenarios.
