MAZ 303E20 electric bus is assembled from "anti-sanction" components of Belarusian and Russian production and is equipped with traction equipment with an engine control system, traction batteries and a multiplex system manufactured by the Russian company Itelma. The driver's workplace, including the dashboard, is also manufactured in Russia. The frame of the electric bus and the front axle are produced by MAZ, aluminum profiles, plastic and cladding materials used in the cladding, interior and exterior details, seats, tires, electrical equipment components, information boards, glazing – manufactured in Belarus. Belarusian companies also developed software products and were responsible for engineering.
The second novelty of the Minsk Automobile Plant, presented at the exhibition in Moscow, was extra-large MAZ 303T20 trolleybus with a passenger capacity of 82 people. Externally, the trolleybus is not much different from the third-generation MAZ buses and MAZ electric buses. The model is equipped with an asynchronous electric motor with a rated power of 155 kW, the capacity of hybrid supercapacitors is 36 kW/h. Experts determine the service life of supercapacitors in 20,000 cycles. The reserve of autonomous travel is from 20 to 50 km. The trolleybus of the new model has 30 seats, of which 14 are on the low floor.
