KAMAZ automobile plant has purchased the new generation universal hardness tester for its central laboratory. Operational control of the metal and alloy hardness is especially necessary when mastering the manufacture of new products.

This universal device allows to measure the metal hardness by three methods at once with the output of hardness values on the monitor screen – according to Rockwell for parts after quenching, according to Brinell – for parts, castings in the state of delivery, according to Vickers – for products with a small thickness. This compact device has a wide range of loads from five to 3,000 kg-forces and high accuracy.
