Atom electric car was presented at the KAMAZ Visit Center

The third meeting of the KAMAZ 2035 discussion club was held at the KAMAZ Visit Center, during which the Atom project was presented.

The electric car prototype is located in the temporary exhibition area of the Visit Center. Developers present it as a gadget car. The developer is holding a smartphone with an application on the screen of which the car control functions are displayed. By pressing one button, the front doors open first, and then the rear doors. There is also no central body pillar.

The car can travel up to 500 km on a single charge, and at a temperature of minus 20 °C – up to 350 km. The battery can be charged in half an hour.

Recall that the pre-production assembly of prototypes started in early 2025. According to developers, it will be possible to see the car on the roads in spring of 2026. It is planned to be released in three versions for private use, taxi and carsharing. Service centers will be located in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Kazan, Naberezhnye Chelny and 8-10 other cities of Russia.
