According to the marketing agency NAPI, following results of ten months of 2023, Chinese vehicles accounted for 61.1% of the new truck market. Over the year, new Chinese truck sales grew by 312.6% and reached 72.6 thousand units. Russian truck sales increased by only 1.6% and amounted to 34.9 thousand units. The share of Russian vehicles fell from 52% in the first ten months of last year to 29.4% based on the results of ten months of the current year. If the new truck market is broken down by segment, Chinese brands occupied 79.7% and 75.6%, respectively, in the dumper and tractor unit segments.
